National Need

  • In Nepal, Continuing Medical Education (CME) is intermittent, mostly done in cities, and of variable quality.
  • There is a need for home study, especially for those not working in cities.


  • Two NSI volumes produced: 7-module set in 2008; 6-module set in 2012.
  • Certification following course completion and passing exam.
  • Amplifying learning activities are provided.


  • 250 doctors enrolled in Volume 1.
  • Demand from Nepal Medical Council for better system of CME in country.
