Primary Emergency Care (PEC) Training

NSI has been conducting the Primary Emergency Care (PEC) training from 26 May to 1 June in collaboration with National Health Training Center (NHTC). The training is designed for 7 days that covers 5 modules, which are Basic Life Support, Common Medical Emergencies, Primary Trauma Care, Common Orthopedic Emergencies and Mass Casualty Incident Management. The participants will be doctors, staff nurses and health assistants working in Emergency department. NSI supported NHTC to develop this training package.

There are 21 participants representing 12 hospitals which includes 4 NSI supported district hospitals and 4 training sites. This is the pilot batch.
