Nepal NSOAP Orientation Webinar Series 2021

On 19-22 July 2021, the Government of Nepal Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) hosted the Nepal NSOAP Orientation Webinar Series with the support of the Nick Simons Institute (NSI). This event consisted of a multi-disciplinary group meeting of more than 100 national and international stakeholders representing the federal and provincial level governments of Nepal, the World Health Organization, bilateral and multilateral development agencies, philanthropic organizations, professional societies, non-governmental institutions, and academia and universities to discuss the collective effort for a National Surgical, Obstetric, and Anaesthesia Plan (NSOAP) in Nepal.The main objective of the NSOAP Orientation Program Series was to start the conversation of the importance of surgical care and understand the process of developing an NSOAP in Nepal. A three-day workshop on 'Transformational Technologies of Life and Performance' by Nara B. Karki

NSI conducted a three-day workshop entitled "Transformational Technologies of Life and Performance" from December 19 to 21 at Kathmandu which was facilitated by famous coach Mr. Nara B. Karki.The Workshop aimed to introduce the methods of positive creativity, power and freedom that lead improved work relationship, performance and personal vitality. The workshop had various domains of discussion, sharing and innovation; specifically inspirational and transformational areas of distinctions, development of futuristic life, innovative solutions and breakthroughs. All the methodologies were designed to generate and enhance capacity of organization to engage higher sense of responsibility and integrity, develop self examining skills. Tools and methodologies of workshop were designed to facilitate the wisdom of every single person so that they would renew their commitment and identify area of breakthrough.  Beyond the classic idea to inform or orient people, this process helped the participants to generate state of distinction, responsibility and sense of ownership in the area they actively involving.
