NSI organized a three-day 11th Rural Healthcare Workers Conference from 22 - 24, March 2023 in Kathmandu to honor and address the issues faced by the rural healthcare workers of Nepal.
The objectives of the conference were:
1. To provide encouragement and upliftment of the healthcare workers.
2. To provide Continuing Medical Education (CME) on differenet topics.
3. To provide a forum for discussion within the government system.
4. To explore further linkages between rural healthcare workers, the government and NSI.
The conference was inaugurated by Dr. Dipendra Raman Singh, Director General, Department of Health Services.
