NSI organized a three-day 12th Rural Healthcare Workers Conference from 20 - 22, March 2024 in Kathmandu to honor and address the issues faced by the rural healthcare workers of Nepal.
The objectives of the conference were:
1. To provide encouragement and upliftment of the healthcare workers.
2. To provide Continuing Medical Education (CME) on differenet topics.
3. To provide a forum for discussion within the government system.
4. To explore further linkages between rural healthcare workers, the government and NSI.
The conference was inaugurated by Hon. Upendra Yadav, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population.
The total of 85 participants across the country participated the conference.
