The first Provincial Biomedical Workshop of the country has been established in Sudurpaschim Province with support of Nick Simons Institute. The Biomedical workshop was inaugurated by the Hon. Chief Minister Mr. Trilochan Bhatta on 5 Poush 2078 (20 December 2021) in presence of various dignitaries of the province. The inaguration program was chaired by Hon. Minister of Social Development Mr. Lal Bahadur Khadka.
The Biomedical Workshop is established under Health Directorate of Sudurpaschim Province and is expected to conduct its work in all domain of medical equipment management (Planning, Procurement, Installation, Training, Maintenance, decommissioning and disposal).
